Game Design Document

think it's really important to look at what is actually capable of making for a class project. now I'm fully aware that my class project does not have to result in a fully refined and playable game but it must document my planning phases and undergoing of the project itself..must do this through blog posts which have to be informative and understanding. 

Since I'm in the planning phase and still haven't actually started using unity to make my game. I don't have any personal made examples of character design gameplay or mechanics just yet but I can explain them in words and show images for reference. 

 

Gamplay 

Gameplay is going to be fairly simple is going to be your character in the center of the screen capable of attacking to the right and left as enemies approach you your character will hopefully be able to jump and use other attacks based on what character you're playing.

Mechanics  

One of the main mechanics in the game is that they're going to be unique enemies and unique characters you play. your character is going to switch between 3. Each one with their own unique ability.These are going to be the greaser the punk and the jock. When you switch character you also switch backgrounds but the enemies will remain the same coming from all three environments. These environments are three separate ones based off the characters that these C1 will be the outside St for the greaser one will be high school locker room the jock and a sci-fi city for the punk.
