Communication and game design documents. 

first was a paper on the academic website. this showed a basic introduction to game design and showed examples of game design elements from games and in development process. 

At first goes on to state about two very important aides thus it designers should use when planning their game. 1st is a memory aid as you will forget many of your early design assets or decisions so the use of a memory aid will solve that first problem. and a communication tool this is very important because it promotes dialogue between the users who are designing the game does giving them a better understanding of everything together. 

 

Which is an example of some works a student has done laying out information unique and interesting way which may be used in game assets but it's primarily used to refresh a person's outlook on the character or individual depicted in it. 

 

The document also speaks in detail on 14 topics such as game design overview detailed design document story overview technical design document pipeline overview system limitations art barrable concepts and art overview game budget an management project schedule an management story Bible writing script writing game tutorial and manual writing and walkthrough for players. 

 RPG MAKER GAME 

Next was a video, of a man running us through his RPG maker game that he was planning through his document and he wished on our document in his opinion towards the same ideals that he has his. he explains why for example. you want to be quick and concise when talking about your controls but when you want to talk about your mechanics you go into vast detail. it's great to get another person's insight even if it isn't in the genre I'm planning my game to be.
